THERAPY FOR CHILDREN, FAMILIES & PARENTS
When your child is struggling, everything feels heavier.
If you’re here, you’ve probably been advocating, researching, problem-solving, and worrying. At Morningstar, we start with your child as a whole person — their strengths, their story, and what’s making things hard right now. Then we build from there, with you alongside us the whole way.

PARENT COACHING
Parenting is hard work.
You’ve tried the calm voice. You’ve tried the consequences and the sticker charts. You don’t want to keep yelling, but somehow the cycle keeps repeating. The fact that you’re here means you want something to actually change — and that’s where we come in.
Parent coaching isn’t about becoming a perfect parent. It’s about getting real tools, building real confidence, and improving interactions with your child.

Whether your child is melting down daily, refusing to do anything you ask, or you’re walking on eggshells trying to prevent the next explosion — we will help you figure out what’s driving the behavior and what to do about it.
Sessions are built around you. Your goals, your family’s rhythms, your child’s specific challenges. No generic handouts. No one-size-fits-all scripts.
Our Approach
PARENT COACHING
Triple P Positive Parenting Program
Triple P is the most extensively studied parenting program in the world. It is informed by social learning, cognitive behavioral and developmental theory, as well as research into risk factors associated with the development of social andbehavioral problems in children. Triple P is a system of interventions designed to equip parents with the skills and confidence they need to manage any family issue.
SPACE (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions)
SPACE is a parent-based treatment program for children and adolescents with anxiety, OCD, and related concerns. Although your child is technically the client and anxiety or OCD is the target, SPACE works by helping you (the parent) change the ways you respond to your child’s anxiety.

Dr. Tara is trained in two of the most effective parent-facing interventions available:

Dr. Tara Delach
MEET YOUR CLINICIAN
Licensed Psychologist · Certified School Psychologist
Dr. Tara specializes in anxiety, OCD, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, emotional and behavioral concerns, and parent coaching. She works with children, adolescents, and families.
She has a particular gift for connecting with even the most hesitant kids and helping their parents feel genuinely capable and less alone. Her approach weaves evidence-based treatment with real parent collaboration — because what happens outside the therapy room matters just as much as what happens inside it. She translates complex concerns into clear, practical next steps.

What Happens Next
01 SEND US A MESSAGE
You reach out. You can call our office or fill out a brief contact form. It’s okay if you’re notsure what to say — just tell us what’s going on. We read every inquiry personally.
02 CLARITY CALL
We’ll confirm that we’re the right match for your child’s needs and then reach out to schedule a free phone consultation. If we’re not the right fit, we’ll do our best to point you somewhere that is.
Most parents tell us the first session was nothing like what they expected — in a good way. Ourjob in that first meeting isn’t to assess or diagnose. It’s to make you and your child feel likeyou’ve finally found somewhere safe to land.By the end of the first session, most families leave feeling relieved, a little lighter, and surprisedby how quickly the time went.
03 FIRST SESSION
First session — just a conversation. We will meet with you first to learn more about yourchild and family, and start establishing some initial goals.
04 A PATH FORWARD
Next, we’ll meet with your child and begin getting to know them. Whether your child is excited because they’ve been asking for help, or they are scared at the thought of meeting someone new, we get it. The goal of this first session is to help them feel comfortable and give them a voice in their own care. You’ll leave with a shared understanding of the plan — what we’re working on, how often, and what you can expect.

OUR DOOR IS ALWAYS OPEN
You don't need to have it figured out before you reach out.
We know we’re asking you to reach out to a stranger and share something real about your family. We don’t take that lightly. You don’t have to have it all figured out — just take the first step and we’ll help you find the right starting point.
