Evidence-based therapy, diagnostic evaluations, and performance coaching — all under one roof.
Morningstar is a psychology-led practice offering therapy, evaluations, coaching, and consultation — designed to support children, teens, adults, parents, and professionals who want more than symptom relief. They want growth that actually lasts — and support that feels thoughtful, practical, and human.
OUR SERVICES
Find Your Path Forward
Whether you are struggling with anxiety, navigating a developmental transition, parenting a child with complex needs, or leading under sustained pressure, our role is to help you make sense of what’s happening, build effective skills, and regain a sense of steadiness and momentum.
For Your Child or Family
Anxiety. OCD. ADHD. Autism. The meltdowns you can't explain and the school calls you've started dreading. We specialize in helping kids and families find their footing — and making sure parents feel capable, not just informed.
For a Teen or Young Adult
Old enough to know something's off. Not quite sure what to do about it yet. This is the season where understanding yourself pays dividends for the rest of your life.
Therapy for Adults
Whether you're managing anxiety that won't quit, struggling to balance work and home life, or simply tired of functioning when you could be thriving — Morningstar is where that work happens.
Performance Coaching
We offer non-clinical, performance-focused coaching for high-achieving professionals and leaders seeking greater clarity, effectiveness, and sustainability.

THE PEOPLE BEHIND THE PRACTICE

Dr. Lindsey O'Brennan
Dr. Lindsey built Morningstar in 2018 around a simple idea: transformation doesn’t have to feel clinical — it can be human-first, engaging, and even a little joyful.

She works with high achievers because she is one (her professional and fitness CVs are, frankly, extensive) and because she’s deeply inspired by what driven people are capable of when they’re no longer burning themselves out to succeed. Her clients are often navigating anxiety, overwhelm, and burnout across academic, professional, and personal domains. They’re not struggling to perform — they’re questioning the cost of performing at such a high level, and looking for a more sustainable way forward.

And while the work is thoughtful and substantive, it’s also human—expect to laugh at yourself at least once per session… and to be asked about your dog.

Dr. Tara Delach
Dr. Tara is a licensed psychologist and certified school psychologist who plays a central role in Morningstar’s child, adolescent, and family services. She specializes in working with children and teens struggling with anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, behavioral challenges, autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, and related developmental conditions.

Dr. Tara uses evidence-based therapies along with parent coaching and family collaboration to support and empower both children and caregivers. Her work emphasizes skill-building, emotional understanding, and helping families feel capable and supported throughout their journey — especially during moments that feel confusing or overwhelming.

Dr. Tara has a rare gift: she makes kids actually want to come to therapy. She's also a mom of three — which means she talks to parents like a close friend who gets it.

Our Approach
HOW WE WORK
Psychologically Grounded
Research-backed, ethically practiced, clinically rigorous. Our work is informed by research, clinical training, and ethical practice
Developmentally Informed
A seven-year-old, a seventeen-year-old, and a forty-five-year-old executive need fundamentally different things. Our clinicians pay attention to the individual’s developmental stage, strengths, and environment.
Practical and Applied
What happens outside the session is where it counts. We build toward that from day one -- because insight matters, but change happens through action
Collaborative and Human
Clients have texted us from hospital parking lots. We've cried together and laughed together. Growth happens in relationship, not in isolation

OUR DOOR IS ALWAYS OPEN
You don't need to have it figured out before you reach out.
Most people who contact us for the first time don't know exactly what they need yet. That's fine — figuring out the right starting point together is part of what we do. Tell us a little about what's going on, and we'll take it from there.
