Psychology meets coaching.
For leaders who are done leaving performance and wellbeing on the table.
Dr. Lindsey is a psychologist by training and an executive coach by calling. The clients she works with have looked the same for over a decade: high-achieving, driven, passionately chasing their goals in school, in their field, and up every ladder they've set their sights on. Exceptional on the outside. Carrying more than they let on underneath.
The skills that make someone a great leader don't automatically make them a fulfilled one. At a certain point, the work isn't about doing more. It's about understanding what's actually driving you and whether it's still taking you somewhere you want to go.
COACHING IS NOT THERAPY
Coaching at Morningstar is non-clinical, forward-looking, and focused entirely on where you're going.
We're not excavating your past. We're clarifying your present and building toward something specific.
Most executive coaches come from a business or leadership background. I come from clinical psychology, which means I understand not just what high achievers do, but why they do it. The internal architecture. The patterns that look like strategy on the outside and feel like anxiety on the inside.
You get the rigor of a coaching framework with a psychologist's understanding of what actually makes people tick.

Common Areas of Focus
Leadership Under Pressure
How you show up when the stakes are high, the room is watching, and your calendar has no margin. We build the version of you that leads well consistently, not just when conditions are
perfect.
Pacing for the Long Game
One of the most underrated leadership skills is knowing which race you're in. A sprint requires everything you have right now. A marathon requires a completely different strategy. We figure
out which one you're running and whether your current pace is built to last.
The Conversations You've Been Avoiding
The feedback that hasn't been given. The boundary that keeps getting pushed. The team
dynamic you've been managing around instead of through. We work on it here before it costs
you more out there.
Identity Beyond the Title
What happens when you reach the goal and the feeling doesn't follow? Who are you when you
step away from the achievement? This is some of the most important work a leader can do.
Decision Fatigue & Executive Clarity
When you're making consequential decisions all day, your judgment gets taxed in ways that
compound quietly. We work on the mental habits and structures that keep your thinking sharp
when it matters most.
Team Dynamics & Culture
Sometimes the individual work surfaces something bigger. We can extend the work to your
leadership team, building the communication, trust, and shared language that makes the whole
organization operate better.
Executive & Performance Coaching
Morningstar coaching engagements are fixed 3 or 6-month partnerships. Not open-ended, not indefinite — because real progress has a shape and you deserve to know what you're signing up for.
What's Included
1:1 Coaching Sessions — Regular sessions focused on what's most pressing. Virtual or in-person in the Tampa Bay area.
Assessments & Frameworks — Psychological assessments and leadership tools that give you real, usable language for what you're navigating.
On-Site Visits — For leaders working on team dynamics or organizational culture, I
come to you.
Team Coaching — When the work surfaces something systemic, we can bring it to the leadership team.

The next level usually needs a different kind of thinking partner.
Most high achievers wait longer than they should to ask for this kind of support. That makes complete sense: you're wired to solve things yourself, and it's served you well.
But at a certain point, what's keeping you from the next chapter isn't a skill gap. It's a perspective one.
No intake forms, no jargon, no homework before we've even met. Just a real conversation about where you are and where you want to go.
MEET YOUR COACH
Dr. Lindsey O'Brennan
Dr. Lindsey built Morningstar in 2018 around a simple idea: transformation doesn’t have to feel clinical — it can be human-first, engaging, and even a little joyful.

She works with high achievers because she is one (her professional and fitness CVs are, frankly, extensive) and because she’s deeply inspired by what driven people are capable of when they’re no longer burning themselves out to succeed. Her clients are often navigating anxiety, overwhelm, and burnout across academic, professional, and personal domains. They’re not struggling to perform — they’re questioning the cost of performing at such a high level, and looking for a more sustainable way forward.

And while the work is thoughtful and substantive, it’s also human—expect to laugh at yourself at least once per session… and to be asked about your dog.
